For reasons I cannot divulge due to the need for absolute secrecy, it is required of me to get in touch with my inner geek. I’m not usually a method man, but something tells me that my usual Orson Welles-calibre approach isn’t going to cut the mustard this time around. This is Robert De Niro’s turf, after all. When, during the filming of Marathon Man, Lawrence Olivier told Dustin Hoffman, “Oh, Dusty, why don’t you just try acting?”, he didn’t understand that there is method to the madness of method acting.
